Stillow Privacy Policy

Stillow has no accounts and no login. Your moods, journal entries, artwork, session history and settings are stored securely on your device using sandboxed iOS/Android storage. This information is never uploaded to any remote server and we cannot access it.

When you use the voice journal or write thoughts in the Defusion studio, any speech-to-text is performed on-device using your operating system's native speech recognition. Stillow does not record, store, or transmit your audio.

Stillow only ever writes to your photo library, and only when you tap Save on an artwork. It never reads, browses, or uploads your photos.

If you allow notifications, Stillow schedules its reminders on your device. There is a daily nudge for the two-minute Daily Reset, an evening wind-down that opens Sleep, a reminder when a streak is about to lapse, and at most two gentle messages if you have been away for a while. The app icon also carries a badge on days your Daily Reset is still undone.

All of this is scheduled locally by your phone. Nothing about when you open the app, what you do inside it, or how long your streak is ever leaves your device or reaches us. There is no server for it to go to.

The daily reminder and the bedtime wind-down have separate switches in Settings, and you can change the time of each. Your device’s notification permission is the real switch: if you decline it, Stillow schedules nothing at all.

All purchases, subscriptions and trials are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Stillow never sees or stores your payment details, card numbers, or billing address.

Stillow contains no third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell or share personal data. We do not build advertising profiles about you.

Stillow is rated for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because no personal data leaves the device, there is nothing for us to collect.

Stillow is published by Cafiyn Innovations LLP. Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Your data lives on your device and stays under your control. You can erase all of it at any time by deleting the app.
