Boredom Jollypop Terms of Use

By downloading, installing or using Boredom Jollypop you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

If you are under the age of majority in your region, use the app and make purchases only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Boredom Jollypop on devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, under these terms. The app is licensed to you, not sold.

When you first open Boredom Jollypop, the first 3 days are free. The free days are part of the app, they are not a trial run by Apple or Google, and they need no payment and no payment details. During them the app's free features are open. The days are counted on your device from the date and time you first opened the app.

When the 3 days end, the app offers you one extra 2 day extension, once. If you accept, it runs for 48 hours from the moment you accept. You can accept it or decline it, and the offer is not shown again. You can also look at the plans at any time. Reinstalling the app on the same device may start the free days again, and we may change how the free days work in a later version.

After the free days, the app needs Jollypop Plus. The game has 30 worlds with 60 levels each, 1,800 levels in all, along with the Mastery levels, and Jollypop Plus opens every world and level. With Plus you can start Play more runs and replay the Mastery levels as many times as you like. Play more pays no coins, and Mastery levels pay a limited number of coins each day. The plans are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription and a one time Lifetime purchase. The price you are charged is the one shown by the App Store or Google Play when you confirm.

Payment is charged by Apple to your Apple ID, or by Google to your Google Play account, when you confirm the purchase. A monthly or yearly subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. A Lifetime purchase is paid once, does not renew, and belongs to the store account that bought it. Deleting the app or resetting your progress does not cancel a subscription.

Payments, billing, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. Refund requests are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies.

If a renewal payment fails, the store may try again for a while. Depending on the store, access may stay open for a grace period or pause until the payment is fixed. The app shows a message and a button that opens the store's page where you can update your payment method. If a payment is refunded, the app shows a plain message and the plans.

When your free days are over and you have no active plan, most of the app is closed, and only the plans, Restore purchases, these terms, the privacy policy and support stay open. Your progress is never deleted. Your stars, coins, stickers, treasures and Pip items stay on your device, and when you subscribe again, everything opens again.

The app asks the App Store or Google Play from time to time whether your plan is active, and keeps the answer on your device so that it can work offline. If it cannot reach the store for about 14 days, access closes until it can. If you have bought a plan before, you can use Restore purchases in the app to get your access back.

We may change, add or remove levels, activities, features and content, and we may update the app. More worlds are added over time. We do not promise any schedule, number or kind of new worlds or levels. Jollypop Plus unlocks the levels and worlds the app offers to subscribers, including worlds added later.

You earn coins by playing. Coins are used only in Pip's Shop, for cosmetic items such as hats, backpacks, accessories and effects, which never change difficulty or scores. Coins cannot be bought with money and have no cash value: they cannot be sold, exchanged, transferred or redeemed for anything outside the game. Stars, stickers and treasures are only for fun and have no cash value either.

You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or rent out the app. You also agree not to try to open Jollypop Plus levels without a valid plan or to extend the free days, for example by tampering with the app, its saved data, your device's clock or your device, and not to use the app for anything unlawful.

All art, sound effects, characters (including Pip), levels, text and code in the app are the intellectual property of Cafiyn Innovations and its licensors. These terms give you a licence to use the app, and no ownership of any of it.

Tiny Quests, the tiny real-life moments in Daily Sparks and similar prompts, such as a stretch or finding three blue things, are optional suggestions. The app cannot see or check what you do. Do them in your own way and only where it is safe to do so. Stop if anything hurts or feels uncomfortable. Use your own judgment, and a grown-up's judgment applies when a child plays.

Breathe with Pip is a simple guided-breathing activity for a quiet moment. Boredom Jollypop is a game. It is not medical, health or therapeutic advice or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are unwell or worried about your health, please speak to one.

Boredom Jollypop is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the app will be error-free, always available or work on every device, and progress saved on your device can be lost if you uninstall the app or clear its data. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cafiyn Innovations LLP is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

If you downloaded Boredom Jollypop from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of Boredom Jollypop after an update means you accept the revised terms.
